Anna Zakashansky is an award winning artist and an art teacher at the Renaissance Children Art Studio.

Anna had graduated from Republican School of Art in Kiev, Ukraine in 1987 specializing in drawing and painting. In 1992 Anna received Masters' degree with honors from Kiev State Art Institute in graphic art. She specialized in book illustration. During her student years Anna's graphic and painting artworks were shown in numerous local and international art exhibitions and museums.

Anna has lived and worked in the United States since 1992.  Anna has illustrated 2 children’s books, one of which the "PERFECT PORRIDGE" has won a prestigious Parents Choice Recommendation award of the year 2000.

 From 1996 through 2007 she worked full time as an Art Director for several New York Advertising Agencies, among which Young & Rubicam. She still works on occasional projects for Young & Rubicam and other clients.

Anna feels that her expertise in art and design can be valuable for many children who dream of becoming artists or just simply enjoy art.  That's why she decided to devote her time to teaching young artists and to share her love for the arts.
